I would also add - turn off or hide your camera for zoom/google meetings!

I noticed my self-esteem around my body plummeted around Covid, and was wondering what was going on. The main difference I could tell was that I was looking at myself and seeing recordings of myself on mtgs - and then would just start seeing what was wrong with my face. I think it's a bit like staring in the mirror too long. Since hiding my self view on zoom, I've noticed things getting better.

Thank you for writing this article! I've been looking for an article to talk about people becoming more critical of their bodies since Covid, because I've personally experienced it and many of my friends are going through a similar thing. It's nice to read some research on it, and to know this definitely is a thing occurring.
